Monstax : A New Story Unfolds
2 months ago, we kickstarted Monstax with Axie Infinity being our very project. In the blink of an eye, we have walked our first 62 steps into building our very own community & scholarship. It had been an amazing journey & with that, we would like to thank all our scholars, members, sponsors, coaches, supporting personnel & investors for making Monstax where it is today!
The Past 2 Months
On June 13th, we started our first small group of pilot scholars, which consisted of 4 members. Back then, SLP was only running at approximately 11¢ to 13¢, but we certainly saw its potential of becoming a game-changer in the crypto-verse. When we began, the total Daily Active Users was below 100,000, but now it has a stunning total of 800 000 DAU. The Axie ID was below 700,000, but now, it has passed the 3M Series.
Now, we have over 350 scholars and have increased our workforce to 16 personnel handling scholars from 3 different countries, including Korea, Malaysia & Singapore. As of this moment, we have over 1,000 applications that are still awaiting their interviews & confirmations. This is an extremely exciting time but what we have in store for our community is even more exciting. This may not be a significant number compared to the overall Axie growth, but hey! We are so proud to be a part of this Play2Earn movement in the crypto-verse.
The Great Unveil
If you have been with us from the very beginning, you may have sensed a very different vibe now in comparison to when we first started. But what you have sensed is absolutely right; we are officially launching our new logo & kickstarting our rebranding phase.
What exactly is Monstax to us? Monstax is a Monster Community that travels on the spaceship to conquer & grow on different planets (platforms). With Lunacia as our very first pit stop, we have laid out our expansion plan into the Monstax Ecosystem for our community.
The ecosystem that we are building does not only help the growth of our community digitally but also fosters relationships in our geographical locations.

Advanced & Masters Scholarship
We have now introduced two more categories for our scholars to grow their SLP income by further pursuing their scholarship journey into Advanced & Master.
For scholars who want to advance into Advanced Scholarship, there will be a set of requirements that includes:
1,800 Basic MMR
Possess 3 Devices for the same account (ios, Android (Emulator is fine too) & PC for Sky Mavis)
Completed 3 months as a scholar
To complete a minimum of 3 months as an Advanced Scholar
This would enable a scholar to increase their daily income as they are provided with 40 daily energies and more Axie combinations to deploy for Arena battles. However, the daily profit sharing will also be increased to 90 Based SLP instead of 60 SLP.
Masters Scholarship, on the other hand, promises 60 energy with its very own requirements & perks.
Monstax LandBank
With the incoming Land GamePlay that would benefit all trainers in general, we are launching an initiative for our community to be part of the joint land ownership managed by Monstax.
There is still much uncertainty on Land GamePlay as of now, but I believe the future is bright for us as we grow strong as one. We are looking forward to purchasing a plot of Mystic land & to compete for more land in the coming releases.
The Battlezone
We believe that growing a great community is not just about playing the game on your own but having healthy competition inside and outside of the community, from social games between scholars to inter-scholar competitions & possibly Major Axie Leagues in the future.
Monstax has also submitted a proposal to host an Inter-Scholar tournament between Malaysian Scholarships, but we are still awaiting confirmation from Axie Infinity. Fingers crossed that it goes through, and we will be all ready for the BattleZone.
The Monstax Warehouse
The Monstax Warehouse initiative was designed as a unique feature for our scholars to have ever-changing battle gameplay as the season changes. As every season changes, the meta Axie of the season changes too. So the previously strongest Axie may have been nerfed, and a new class may be on the advantageous edge. To tackle this ever-changing matter, we are launching the Warehouse for scholars to swap their Axies. It serves pretty much like our internal marketplace.
Aside from that, after using the same Axies over a period of time, scholars may get bored of the same gaming style, so this would refresh their love for Axie Infinity.
There will be a fixed administration fee of 100 SLP per swap.
Growing Together Physically Too!
Monstax’s goal has always been to empower the community. From crypto-currency opportunities, job opportunities, collaboration opportunities to personal development, we are looking forward to growing together with you.
As a big personal fan of making things fun, we will have lots of meet up opportunities that will allow us to utilize our offline programs that include our Sports Club & Monstax Events. Besides regular Badminton, Futsal, Hiking or Go Kart sessions, I am especially looking forward to having a Mini Scholarship Tournament on a sandy beach with our very own team. (Covid, please leave soon, my ass is already stuck to the seat for too long)
Last but not least, we have started our Monstax Merchant Partnerships to have bulk discounts at our partner Merchants. Not only will we have better value for our earned SLP, but we will also be able to support real-life businesses owned by our Sponsors & Scholars.

Is This What You Want?
If you have read until this point, perhaps this community may be something that you would want to be connected with. Some of you may be keen to come in as a scholar or perhaps even want to dive deeper. From mid of June until today, from a 3-man team, we are now fully equipped with a 15-man workforce that includes our own web developer, designer, comic artist, social media manager, Axie coaches & administration support team. The best part of it, they are all selected from within our scholar community.
Moving forward, we will be looking to grow more head-count that will include more roles for Axie Coaches, translators, content-writers & event coordinators as well. However, we are still limited to accepting scholars from Korea, Malaysia & Singapore only.
I would like to apologize to potential scholars from around the globe sincerely, but as a community builder that focuses on both online & offline interactions, we can only limit ourselves to building one location at a time. On the bright side, we may be opening a new country real soon. (After pandemic restrictions are lifted.)
